Aimee Vozzo is an Australian born saxophonist. After having survived childhood cancer, and the loss of a lung in treatment, she decided to dedicate her entire life to the arts despite this disability.
Aimee studied music at The University of Sydney and graduated in 2015. She then went on to pursue a career in performance. Aimee was part of the orchestra for several musical productions in Sydney. These included, Sweeney Todd, Chicago, The Hatpin, Parade & The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. She also achieved a finalist title in the 2017 NSW Drs Orchestra Sydney Eisteddfod Instrumental Scholarship.
Following a great start to her performance career, Aimee decided to move to the UK in 2018 in order to delve into the bustling music industry and to take new opportunities. Since being in the UK she has joined a saxophone quartet known as the "Montage Quartet". the Quartet performed in Harewood House in Yorkshire where they were featured on "Mary Berry's Country House at Christmas" on BBC Two which was premiered on television in 2018 on Christmas day. Aimee is also an active competitor and participates in European Music competitions. Her most recent being the ‘Casa Torre Bonfadini’ competition in Braone, Italy.
Aimee holds over 10 years of teaching experience in schools, ensembles and bands. Having such a vast amount of performance experience as well as overcoming challenging obstacles in her life, she ensures that her teaching attitude is one of motivation and encouragement. She instills the belief that you can do anything you set your mind to!
