Arturo is a Venezuelan double bass player born in Caracas, Venezuela. He began his musical journey in "El Sistema" and received education from renowned instructors such as César Ortega, Claudio Hernández, and Emilse Rios. He also attended the Latin American Academy of Double Bass under the guidance of Maestro Felix Petit at the Simón Bolívar Conservatory.

Arturo further honed his skills by studying jazz at the “Caracas Jazz Workshop" with Oscar Fanega.

Throughout his career, Arturo has performed with prestigious orchestras and ensembles including the Teresa Carreño Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Opera of Wales, and Orchestra of the Swan. He has also participated in masterclasses with esteemed musicians like Thomas Martin, Giuseppe Ettore, and Caroline Emery.

Arturo holds a Master of Music degree from the Birmingham Royal Conservatoire, where he was a scholarship recipient and studied with Thomas Martin, Carina Cosgrave, and Antony Alcock.

After completing his studies, he became actively involved in London's music scene as a double bassist and teacher.

Alongside his teaching and freelance work, Arturo has dedicated two years to using music as a catalyst for personal and social transformation.

With a passion for sharing the enriching and healing qualities of music, Arturo strives to inspire and uplift others through his performances and teachings. He believes in the profound significance of music and its ability to positively impact individuals and communities
