Jamie is a guitar and bass tutor with over 10 years’ experience of playing and teaching music. Holding a first class degree in music, he also has played, recorded and produced music for many artists and bands, and performed in places such as the Royal Albert Hall, and appeared on BBC One.

Being proficient in acoustic, electric and bass guitar, Jamie teaches a range of techniques, skills, and styles, as well as exam syllabuses such as Trinity. He also holds extensive knowledge of music theory and has experience teaching privately and schools in Harrow and Kingston, as well as leading various workshops.

Jamie has taught students from a range of starting points and ages and tailors each lesson around the student’s goals and interests.

Jamie is passionate about students enjoying playing music, learning their favourite songs, and being able to perform with friends. Thus his lessons can focus on ear training, improvisation, rhythmic timing, reading music, techniques, and tone. His aim is to develop confidence in his students so they can play in the musical contexts they one day dream to perform in, or help those who already do so.
