Anna is an active performer and tutor based in London. Originally trained as a classical clarinettist and pianist, she later took up saxophone as she drew closer to jazz and improvised music, then training in jazz saxophone at the Perugia Conservatory of Music in Italy. Here she also studied the fundamentals of piano accompaniment and took second study classical clarinet. She is now a versatile player involved in projects in a range of genres including jazz, RnB, hip hop, afrobeat, funk and fusion and has performed in various venues in Perugia, Rome and London.
Anna teaches improvisation and jazz theory as well as covering all matters of technique and the interpretation of written music, with lessons ultimately being based around the student’s own interests and working towards each person’s unique set of goals.
