  • Born in Poland, Aleksandra began her saxophone journey from the age of 14. In her studies she has had the chance to learn with the most prominent jazz figures, including Maciej Sikala and Piotr Baron.

    Aleksandra relocated to the UK after completing her BA(Hons) in Jazz and Contemporary Music at the University of Zielona Gora. Since being in the UK she has delved into courses, one being a Music Therapy Study Day at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

    In addition to her own education, Aleksandra performs both as a leader and a collaborator at the major jazz venues including The Queen Elizabeth Hall, Southbank Centre, Ronnie Scotts and more. She is a part of Gary Crosby’s Nu Troop and leads her quartet performing in festivals around the country.

    Eager to spread her knowledge and passion for music, Aleksandra holds several teaching positions. This includes teaching at the Female Collective Frontline in the Southbank Centre, which is aimed at emerging female jazz musicians.
